Do you have some crazy look going on and you don’t know why? Got prims sticking through your eyeball and your feet are in a funny shape and look nothing like that cool pair of shoes you just bought for 300L at Shiny Things? Or you just don’t know where to start with looking as beautiful and glamorous as me? = D

When you get dressed and you are looking at yourself making sure you have on the following things.

Shape

Skin

Hair

Any clothing and attachments that go with that clothing. Look for hair attachments, customized attachments, prim shoes, animation over rides.

Most of the time prim shoes are applied in conjunction with clothing shoes to make the “shoe” look right.

Attachments looks like an object in your inventory, shirt, jacket, pants, skirt, shoes, socks and gloves all have little icons that look like clothing.

If you want to alter your shape I am assuming you know how to do this from right clicking on your avatar and going to the appearance menu.

You can set up “outfits” for each avatar by dressing the avatar and then going into appearance mode and selecting “make outfit” it is located toward the bottom of that window. That will create a folder in your inventory of everything you have chosen to make an outfit from which can include everything on your avatar at that time be sure to select Shape, skin, hair and all the attachment. Save that and it’s a folder in your inventory with a meaningful name that you can then just drop on yourself or your friends and everything should line right up regarding how that avatar looks based off the outfit you have saved and dropped onto them.

*Ravi Efficiency Tip*

When you create an outfit take a picture of yourself in that avatar outfit and include it in the folder after you create the outfit. Then you don’t have to try everything on to remember what it was.
