My Bike is running

1st ride of the season is tomorrow morning. Today I spent time cleaning the chrome, and knocking bugs off from the windshield, checking fluids, lights, tread, I love to ride my bike. The battery was dead so I had to hook it up to the juicer, but then as I was frolicking around the garage I tripped yes I am that graceful and broke the charger..oops. It was old and I think I could of repaired it but I couldn’t find wire strippers and added them to my list of tools to have in the garage. So I went down to get a new charger, told the guy I needed to charge my bike battery, he said I won’t need much it’s probably a small bike. I let him know it’s a fairly large bike..and he looks at me with that smug “okay lil lady tell me how BIG your bike is” sort of sarcastic smile and I let him know it was a 1500…he said
“1500 what?”
I say,” a Honda Goldwing 1500GL”.
There are bigger bikes of course but this is a fairly large bike and it weighs in at 900lbs not loaded. I feel free when I ride my bike, it give me good thinking time and being able to handle such a large engine…well it feels good. Let it be known I like the power of my bike and with all that power and size it’s pretty agile. Plus I am comfortable on my ride and even have a latte holder. The bike is a pretty periwinkle color.
My ride is about being part of the scenery not just driving through it. You get to breath in the air, feel the road, no window between you and that massage flock of geese taking off from the lake as you turn the corner.
I ended up getting a trickle charger for about 30 bucks. The next step up was one for 100 and I don’t have much call for a battery charger but in rare cases like this.
The side fairing are a bit snug but I wrestled them off to expose that underbody…rawrrrrr. Going to ride my bike !! Hooked it up to the juicer again..and went for a walk with my neighbor. It was a beautiful day full of the sunshine.
Finally it got started and it’s not one of those noisy bikes, no not at all. My bike just kind of hums wrrrrrrl wrrrrrrrrl. I don’t like those loud disruptive pipes some people enjoy. No, I take it back they are kind of cool but OMG you never want to go on a ride with someone who has them on their bike it’ll give you a headache even with earplugs in.
I called up some friends to see if they wanted to head out for a quick warm up ride tomorrow but apparently one of their bikes is probably going to be down until later next week, bummah but I am still going to go out.
I can’t wait until I can take off for a weekend trip on the bike, stack it up with my camping gear and go!! Go where? To a nice quiet lake where the bass jump right out of the water and eagles sore overhead while in the background you hear gobbles from a flock of wild turkeys. The stars shine really brightly in places like that and I have some wishing to do.
Quick and Dirty with help getting dressed
Do you have some crazy look going on and you don’t know why? Got prims sticking through your eyeball and your feet are in a funny shape and look nothing like that cool pair of shoes you just bought for 300L at Shiny Things? Or you just don’t know where to start with looking as beautiful and glamorous as me? = D
When you get dressed and you are looking at yourself making sure you have on the following things.
Shape
Skin
Hair
Any clothing and attachments that go with that clothing. Look for hair attachments, customized attachments, prim shoes, animation over rides.
Most of the time prim shoes are applied in conjunction with clothing shoes to make the “shoe” look right.
Attachments looks like an object in your inventory, shirt, jacket, pants, skirt, shoes, socks and gloves all have little icons that look like clothing.
If you want to alter your shape I am assuming you know how to do this from right clicking on your avatar and going to the appearance menu.
You can set up “outfits” for each avatar by dressing the avatar and then going into appearance mode and selecting “make outfit” it is located toward the bottom of that window. That will create a folder in your inventory of everything you have chosen to make an outfit from which can include everything on your avatar at that time be sure to select Shape, skin, hair and all the attachment. Save that and it’s a folder in your inventory with a meaningful name that you can then just drop on yourself or your friends and everything should line right up regarding how that avatar looks based off the outfit you have saved and dropped onto them.

*Ravi Efficiency Tip*
When you create an outfit take a picture of yourself in that avatar outfit and include it in the folder after you create the outfit. Then you don’t have to try everything on to remember what it was.

Using Terragen to shape the land in the desired formation, I then used Balliwick getting it into shape to apply into SL raw map uploader. Above are my results.
You should try it.
